We’d love to have you join us Sundays, whether in person or via livestream.
“It’s simple really: God loves you. He loves you as you are. And when you know this, you can begin to build the best relationships of your life.”
God's love is deeper than the ocean and higher than the sky. But when we try to understand God or the world's big issues (or even our own lives), it can get tricky.
Thankfully, we don’t have to consider these things alone. Or at least without a good cup of coffee.
Coffee with a Friend means a cuppa with a friendship group.
We share conversations, coffee (or tea or hot chocolate) and prayer for our concerns and each other, together. Respectfully. Thoughtfully.
Our Coffee with a Friend group is for everyone, of any age group, men and women.
No need to book, just come along: every Tuesday between 10.30am and 12 noon, at Billi’s Café on Blues Point Road. Look for us in their library – or ask for us at the counter.

Traditional Service
For those who love the music of an organ, the liturgy of the prayer book, thoughtful sermons and lovely morning teas—always home-made treats—on the terrace.
5pm
Contemporary Service
For those who like the strum of guitars, informality with structure, thoughtful sermons and dinner—always dinner—afterwards whether at the church or a local restaurant.
What to expect
Relaxed, approachable, authentic fellowship. Whether you’re just starting your career or entering retirement, whether you’re managing your family or moving from a new place, whether you live locally or in another suburb, you'll be warmly greeted.
We’d love to meet you at Christ Church Lavender Bay.
The church is easy to find. While many of our members live around the lower North Shore, others travel from a variety of suburbs to join us for services and events. It's an easy walk from North Sydney or Milsons Point train stations or up from a ferry ride to MacMahon's Point or Milsons Point wharfs.
You can also drive across the bridge and find lots of parking options around the church.Whichever service you attend, we hope you’ll experience genuine hospitality, a friend’s welcome, and an encouraging word about how to live this life we’ve been given.
Because the beauty, goodness and truth of Jesus are the balm our broken world needs today.
