Thank you for Anglican Aid’s support for the training of pastors in regions of Africa where there is a great need for well-trained pastors to serve in growing churches. Please keep safe all missionaries and all those teaching the Christian faith.

Lord, we thank you that we can provide support to Explore Mission, based at George Whitefield College in Cape Town, South Africa. Thank you for the vision for Explore to provide strong Gospel-based training for ministers who would lead growing churches across Africa. At this time, Explore is facing difficulties that limit its activities to South Africa alone.
Lord, you have seen your people through many trials and challenges. We pray now for your wisdom, guidance and provision for the teaching of your Gospel in difficult times.

Almighty, Eternal God, we thank you for our four Gospels, coming down to us through times and ages. Thank you for this eye-witness testimony of Jesus: his life, teaching, his death for our salvation, his conquest of death. Let us note how our Archbishop quotes Billy Graham when the great US evangelist felt weak, but wrote: ‘It is my prayer that I will come in the demonstration and power of the Holy Spirit.’

We praise and thank you, Father, for the contributions made to the smooth running of church life by our many volunteers, who provide service leadership, assist at Communion, who assist in administration, lead prayers, serve on the tech desk, who cater and serve refreshments, welcome others and encourage us in church fellowship.

Father, thank you for our 10am Family Services on the first Sunday of the month. Thank you for children who attend, and we pray that many more parents and grandparents will be drawn to bring children with them to worship. Father, please guide us, also, in planning shared evening (6pm) services with The Bridge Church on the last Sunday of every month. May these services enrich our worship and our fellowship.

We give you thanks, Lord, praying that you will be glorified by such events.

Thank God for progress in Kenya, where five new study groups have begun, 2,000 study modules have been distributed and 16 students graduated. In Uganda, we thank God for steady progress of the first FOCUS group and the formation of five new groups. We pray that the graduation in Nairobi will inspire more leaders to join Explore.

Thank you, Lord, that we can offer mission support to Margaret Powell and her Mentac team for their work in south-west Sydney. Thank you for their mission in the Peace Tent, and all who served there. May all who visited the Peace Tent recently now be eager to learn more of the Prince of Peace.

Almighty, Eternal, all powerful God, we thank you for our four Gospels, coming down to us through times and ages. Thank you for this eye-witness testimony of Jesus: his life, teaching, his death for our salvation, his conquest of death. Help us, Lord, joyfully to hold to these eternal truths.

Please ask for God’s continued blessing and guidance for our Archbishop, Kanishka Raffel, our Bishop, Chris Edwards, and all who serve in our Diocese. Please pray for the 25 new Anglican Deacons ordained at St Andrew’s Cathedral in February.

Father, thank you for the 6pm services shared with members of The Bridge Church. Thank you for growing fellowship. Please guide us as we work together to reach out to our community with your Gospel of love.

Heavenly Father, we thank you that we can offer mission support to James and Brittany Daymond serving you with BCA in Cobar. Praise you, Lord, that James has been engaged in one-on-one discipleship with younger men in the church, and we pray that many men will grow in faith.

Thank you, Lord, for good news from Dave and Margie Wood serving with BCA in Coober Pedy. Thank you for a successful mission there, and for your provision that the team could go to Oodnadatta despite flooded roads.
FRI 24 | Learning to love as Jesus taught us
Almighty and loving God, please guide us in building good and loving relations in our lives. Strengthen us to love and care for all around us, in our homes, families and neighbourhoods.
SAT 25 | Explore Mission in Africa
Lord, we thank you that we can provide support to Explore Mission, based at George Whitefield College in Cape Town, South Africa. Thank you for the vision for Explore to provide strong Gospel-based training for ministers who would lead growing churches across Africa. At this time, Explore is facing difficulties that limit its activities to South Africa alone.
Lord, you have seen your people through many trials and challenges. We pray now for your wisdom, guidance and provision for the teaching of your Gospel in difficult times.
SUN 26 | The Gospel in other parts of Africa
Lord, we praise and thank you for the extensive growth in ministry across other parts of Africa. Thank you for Anglican Aid’s support for the training of pastors in regions of Africa where there is a great need for well-trained pastors to serve in growing churches. Please keep safe all missionaries and all those teaching the Christian faith.
MON 27 | Peace and tolerance in our society
Great Father, help us to bring peace in our communities. Help us in every situation to hold to the teaching of our Lord Jesus, that we love you, and love our neighbours as ourselves.
TUES 28 | A prayer for grace
Eternal Father, we pray for your grace to fulfil every good work that you have prepared for us to do, as we await the triumphant return of our Saviour, Jesus Christ.
WED 29 | A prayer for guidance
Merciful Father, please be with us daily, that through your guidance, we may show love, tolerance and kindness to all.
THURS 30 | May our eyes and hearts be open
Loving Lord, we thank you for daily blessings we enjoy. Please help us to have open eyes and hearts for all those in need.
