Mission Partners

Joining God as We Join Others in Mission
Christ Church Lavender Bay gladly supports other Christians who are living out the good news of Jesus to the world. We provide prayer, funds, and practical support for them. We keep in touch, pray regularly for our mission partners and meet personally with them when possible.

International Partners

CMS

We have long supported CMS and have just taken on new CMS partners Lachlan and Candy Grice. The Grices have been training at St Andrew’s Hall to go and serve God in southern Taiwan, taking with them their infant son.  We look forward to building a relationship with the Grices before they depart.

Explore Mission

We also partner with Explore Mission, based at George Whitefield College in South Africa. Explore provides excellent theological training for pastors and ministry leaders for growing churches throughout Africa.

Regional Partners

Anglicare

We support Anglicare, in its diverse ministries of providing affordable food and friendship through the Community Pantry as well as its work in disaster relief, chapliancy to people in hospitals and prisons, assisting disadvantaged young people, homes for the aged and retirement living, reconciliation with our First Nations brothers and sisters, and much more.

Bush Church Aid (BCA)

We also partner with Bush Church Aid (BCA), bringing the Gospel and pastoral ministry to people in rural and remote areas. Our current mission partners are James and Brittany Daymond, serving in Cobar and the surrounding district.

Local Partners

Margaret Powell

Within our Diocese in Sydney, Christ Church supports Margaret Powell, working through Evangelism and New Churches to share the love of God in south-western Sydney in cross cultural ministry there.
